Electronic Medical Billing – How are insurers, providers and claims management companies preparing for the new law?

Within the past year, two laws have been enacted that require electronic submission and receipt of workers’ compensation and PIP medical claims.  This panel of experts will introduce the role of the claims clearinghouse, how it interacts with providers, claims vendors and insurers.  They will discuss how the new law is being implemented and what the various parties should expect moving forward.

Key questions that this panel will answer:  What are the penalties for non-compliance and the implications for arbitration? Who is excluded from the electronic billing mandate? How does the electronic interchange of standardized information streamline the claims process?  What are the benefits for fraud detection and deterrence?

Confirmed Panelists:

Kristin Callaway, Managing Partner

William DeGasperis, President of Specialty Services
